Blithe Spirit

Auditions: TBA

Performances: March 11-13 & 18-20, 2022

Charles Condomine is a successful author, currently looking for the subject of his next book. Interested in the recently popular science of ESP and the paranormal, Charles and his wife Ruth invite well-known psychic Madame Arcati to join them, along with their good friends the Bradman's, for a seance. All are expecting a fun evening with little to no psychic results, so it's quite a surprise when Madame Arcati successfully calls forth the spirit of Charles' first wife, Elvira, who only he can see. Now that she's returned, Elvira decides she wants her husband back and will do anything to make that happen...even if it means she has to kill him. Blithe Spirit by Noel Coward is one of the great classic comedies of the English-speaking stage and will have you laughing through-out this life...and beyond.

Daddy's Girl

Auditions: TBA

Performances: June 3-5 & 10-12, 2022

Meet Benard Muloovy, proprietor of Maudie’s Diner, the most no-nonsense cook you’ve ever met. Benard gets served a full plate of comic chaos when his deceased wife decides to take up residence as a talking portrait on the diner wall. Enlisting the services of an angel, Michael, Maudie hopes to reunite Benard with their long lost daughter, Elizabeth. True to his mischievous nature, Michael delivers more than one Elizabeth, and Benard’s task is to decide which one is his real daughter. This play comes fully seasoned with characters like E.L. – a snobby restaurant critic after Benard’s secret recipe, Lizzy – a girl with a split personality, a forgetful waitress, a PhD student with communication problems, a yin-yang geriatric duo, a motorcycle mama, and of course Darlynn, the women who has been trying to get Benard to the alter for years, because who doesn’t want a second helping of happiness? In this contest of laughter and tears, lines are drawn, sides are taken, and rules are broken as one young lady reveals a secret and ultimately claims her paternity, but not without a twist … or two. A great night out for the whole family!

Don't Drink the Water

Auditions: TBA

Performances: August 12-14 & 19-21, 2022

Written by comedic legend Woody Allen, Don’t Drink the Water takes place inside an American embassy behind the Iron Curtain. An American tourist – a caterer by trade – and his wife and daughter rush into the embassy two steps ahead of the police who suspect them of spying and picture-taking. It’s not much of a refuge, for the ambassador is absent and his son, now in charge, has been expelled from a dozen countries and the continent of Africa. Nevertheless, they carefully and frantically plot their escape, and the ambassador’s son and the caterer’s daughter even have time to fall in love.

Shrek: The Musical

Auditions: TBA

Performances: October 28-30 & November 4-6, 2022

Everyone's favorite ogre is back in this hilarious stage spectacle.  Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film, Shrek The Musical is a Tony Award-winning fairy tale adventure, featuring all new songs from Jeanine Tesori, and a sidesplitting book by David Lindsay-Abaire. Shrek brings all the beloved characters you know from the film to life on stage and proves there's more to the story than meets the ears.

"Once upon a time, there was a little ogre named Shrek...." And thus begins the tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess who resists her rescue. Throw in a short-tempered bad guy, a fire-breathing dragon, a cookie with an attitude and over a dozen other fairy tale misfits, and you've got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. Luckily, there's one on hand... and his name is Shrek.  Irreverently fun for the whole family, Shrek proves that beauty is truly in the eye of the ogre.
