Get Involved

It is because of the tireless efforts and dedication of our volunteers that make our unique community theatre possible. Stage Crafters invites anyone who would like to be a part of the interactive and exciting things we are doing - from back of house to front, and from stage to the backstage, we have a place for you. Check our calendar to view what we're up to!

We Have a Place for You

All auditions are cold reads from the upcoming show. There is no pre-casting and we love fresh faces as much as veterans. Scripts are available a half-hour before auditions, and no prepared material is necessary. We recommend attending both sessions but it is not mandatory!

Thoroughly Modern Millie Auditions

December 8th & 9th

Hot off the press! One step ahead! Jazz age!  It’s the Roaring 20s, and small-town girl Millie Dillmount has just arrived in New York City ready to make her dreams come true. Millie’s plan is simple: find a job as a secretary for an eligible bachelor, and then marry him. However it doesn’t take long for Millie’s “thoroughly modern” plan to go awry. Filled with frisky flappers, dashing leading men and a dragon-lady of a villainess audiences will love to hate, this high-spirited musical romp will have you dancing the Charleston from the very beginning.

No prepared material needed. Please come prepared to dance. If you own tap shoes, please bring them.

Roles for 17 women and 10 men.

If you have any questions, please email Melissa at

Baskerville Auditions

Get your deerstalker cap on — the play’s afoot! Comedic genius Ken Ludwig (Lend Me a Tenor, Moon Over Buffalo) transforms Arthur Conan Doyle’s classic The Hound of the Baskervilles into a murderously funny adventure. Sherlock Holmes is on the case. The male heirs of the Baskerville line are being dispatched one by one. To find their ingenious killer, Holmes and Watson must brave the desolate moors before a family curse dooms its newest heir. Watch as our intrepid investigators try to escape a dizzying web of clues, silly accents, disguises, and deceit as five actors deftly portray more than forty characters. Does a wild hellhound prowl the moors of Devonshire? Can our heroes discover the truth in time? Join the fun and see how far from elementary the truth can be.

This show is an actor's dream! The cast consists of Sherlock Holmes (naturally), Watson, and  the other 43 different characters will be played by just 3 actors (total of 5 actors). Sometimes you'll get a minute to step off stage and change costumes, and sometimes you'll just have to change right there on stage!

Auditions will be held (2021), at the Stage Crafters Rehearsal Hall, 40 Robinwood Dr SW, FWB, FL 32548. If you have questions or would like to pre-audition, contact the director, Douglas Henderson, at

Catch Me If You Can Auditions

Daniel Corban is honeymooning in an Adirondack cabin with his new bride, Elizabeth, but they've had their first spat, and Elizabeth has disappeared! It's been three days, but Police Inspector Levine is more interested in tracking down a suspected jewel thief at a local hotel. Fortunately, Father Kelleher, the town priest, knows what's happened, and he convinces Elizabeth to come back to give Daniel a second chance. Levine is happy, Kelleher is happy, and Elizabeth is happy. Unfortunately, Daniel is decidedly not happy--he doesn't recognize this woman who is claiming to be his wife! Even though she's able to prove her identity to the satisfaction of the police, Daniel insists he's never seen her before. Is poor Daniel the victim of some nefarious scheme? Or is he, as his loving wife suggests, simply suffering yet another nervous breakdown? Join us for this battle of wits and discover just who is who!

Character info: 7 characters: 4 male, 2 female, 1 can be either (all material will be provided at audition, no preparation needed.) If you have any questions or would like to pre-audition, contact the director, David Honsinger, at
